The Musella Foundation for Brain Tumor Research and Information awarded KiraGen a $50,000 venture philanthropy grant to support patient-derived glioblastoma research.

The program will evaluate lead engineered CAR-T candidates in patient-derived GBM tumoroids, models that preserve important features of tumor architecture and suppressive signaling. Results from this work are intended to help compare candidates and guide continued product development in a more human-relevant system.

KiraGen is grateful to the Musella Foundation and the brain tumor community for supporting research aimed at improving the durability of cell therapy in GBM. Read the Musella Foundation announcement.
