KiraGen is thrilled to welcome Devon Shedlock, PhD, former Chief Scientific Officer, Cell Therapies, at Poseida Therapeutics and the company's first employee, as a scientific advisor.
Devon helped build Poseida's gene-engineered cell-therapy platform and advance its allogeneic CAR-T portfolio. Earlier in his career, he served as associate director of the T-Cell Engineering Laboratory in Carl June's group at the University of Pennsylvania. His experience spans T-cell biology, platform engineering, product development, and clinical translation.
Devon will advise KiraGen on healthy-donor, gene-edited CAR-T development and the translation of its multiplex-engineering platform toward the clinic. KiraGen is excited to add his perspective as the company advances KGEN-001 and evaluates its approach across additional solid tumors.
