KiraGen co-founder and CEO Aaron Edwards presented the company's multiplex CAR-T strategy during an invited symposium at the 2026 Annual Meeting of the American Society of Gene and Cell Therapy.
The presentation focused on a central challenge in solid-tumor cell therapy: CAR-T cells encounter several overlapping suppressive signals at the same time. KiraGen's approach uses multiplex gene editing to build allogeneic CAR-T cells with intrinsic resistance to multiple tumor-mediated pressures.
The invitation placed KiraGen's durability-focused strategy before a leading scientific community in gene and cell therapy and provided an opportunity to share how the company is translating its platform toward product development.
