KiraGen co-founder and CSO Ryan Murray presented preclinical findings from the company's multiplex base-editing program during a GenScript exhibitor showcase at ASGCT 2025.
The presentation described a five-edit CAR-T precursor and its evaluation across suppressive three-dimensional tumor spheroids and an exploratory subcutaneous GBM xenograft model. The findings included preserved baseline function under the tested conditions and improved tumor control relative to unedited and single-edit controls in the exploratory in vivo study.
These early results informed KiraGen's continued work on multiplex engineering for solid tumors. The findings are preclinical and have not been evaluated in patients. View the GenScript ASGCT 2025 program.
